WSJ: How to Tap IT’s Real Potential
Mar 10th, 2008 by Colin Beasty
When the Wall Street Journal is dedicating an entire section of their paper to topics such as these, you know what we’ve been pitching for years is starting to gain relevance.
The article itself is certainly introductory…CRM or IT 101 if you will…but accurate and well versed. Despite having spent 4 years writing about these best practices and now nearly ½ year practicing and executing them for a CRM vendor, it never ceases that the vast majority of businesses, both big and small, still struggle with pitfalls such as these.
And that’s exactly what I like about this article. Because whether you’re speaking to the benefits, or roadblocks, that are inherent to installing a CRM, ERP, SCM system…whichever…or hiring a CIO or CCO (chief customer officer), this article speaks to the common dominators of success that are required at the intersection of business and IT.
